This equipment can monitor the amount of current (Amps) being used on each of the three phases and the terminal voltage (Volts) at a switchboard or an electrical motor’s terminals. When all three phase are using similar current and have similar voltages then the phases are balanced. The way the currents and voltages are changed is to move some electrical loads from one phase to another (such as moving some of the light fittings from one phase to another).
